Pour Point Depressants (PPDs) & Viscosity Index Improvers (VIIs)

Lubricants must perform across a wide temperature range—from sub-zero cold starts to high operating temperatures. Two key additives that ensure effective performance under these extremes are Pour Point Depressants (PPDs) and Viscosity Index Improvers (VIIs). Our PPD and VII products use Polyalkyl Methacrylate (PAMA) technology, offering superior low-temperature flow, shear stability, and broad compatibility with modern lubricants, including Group I, II, and III base oils.

Key Benefits

  • Superior Shear Stability: PAMA-based VIIs resist mechanical breakdown better than traditional Olefin Copolymers (OCPs), maintaining consistent viscosity under stress and extended drain intervals.
  • Enhanced Low-Temperature Flow: PPDs lower the pour point, preventing wax crystal formation that restricts oil flow in cold conditions.
  • Optimized for Low-Viscosity Formulations: Supports modern engines and industrial systems using low-viscosity lubricants for improved fuel efficiency and energy savings.
  • Broad Compatibility: Works with Group I, II, III mineral oils, PAOs, synthetic esters, and bio-based or vegetable oils.
